Avarus Ensemble will perform in Estonian Music Week in Toronto, Canada on May 24th and will feature remarkable new music and collaborations – the program will include three premiers! Mingo Rajandi has composed a new work “Trees Talk” for AE and Martin Kuuskmann, the multiple Grammy-nominated Bassoonist from Estonia, but now based in Denver, US. Exciting new works for AE and featured electronic sounds have also been written by Kara-Lis Coverdale, famed electronic music composer and organist based in Montreal, Canada, and Sander Mölder from Estonia, a versatile artist whose work ranges from groovy DJ sets to composing for orchestras and most recently collaborating on an opera.

EMW is a landmark event celebrating Estonia’s 100th anniversary and brings Estonian contemporary music to Canada and mixes it together with local artists.
